A Deep Dive into the web

We are humans and there's something that drives us all, curiosity. So, apparently almost everyone talks about it and a few know what it's all about. The Deep Web. It's part of the Internet that you don't see every day. It's simply sites and pages that aren't made publicly available. That's a huge part of the Internet.

Deep Web

From movies, series, blogs and books people talk about it. As implicit as it's name sounds, everyone still wants to have access to it. Most of us have access to the web, but, beneath the web that we surf every day lies an enormous tangle of invisible websites that is bigger than we can even imagine. Average users just open their browser and use search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo just to name a few. With access to sites such as blogs, our social media platforms, etc.

Little do we know what is deep down in the web. In the recent years, terms like VPN(Virtual Private Network), Tor browser, Anonymous browsing and proxy pop up in most conversations. But the deep web is not just like the web we use. It's not somewhere you want to visit without knowledge of what it consists of.

Simply, the Deep Web is the Internet. It's sites and pages on the Internet that are hidden from public view. It's accessible with a bit of know-how. You have to know how to get in, stay connected and, with enough motivation, you'll find you're there in no time.

There's nothing bad about the Deep Web. For example, does your company have private pages where you access information that is only for employees? If those pages aren't registered with sites like Google, they're hidden from view. These are sites that run on an encrypted browser. Encryption is an extremely secure way of protecting your information. You can't easily get in without passwords or biometric access, such as your fingerprint. Encryption, when used for good, protects your location and privacy from hackers and criminals. When used for bad, as on the Dark Web, spotting illegal online activities, such as child pornography, prostitution, drug sales and more Be careful as you might run into things you'd rather not see.

So how do you access the deep web..Despite its well-deserved reputation for being hard to find, the Deep Web is easy to access if you follow these steps; Most sites on the Deep Web run on an encrypted tool called Tor. The Onion Router. There are other tools, such as I2P, but it's believed that most sites use Tor browser. If you want to protect your privacy, including your location, you can use Tor. It's a donation-based web service that you can use for everyday web surfing. It's a network of virtual tunnels that protects users’ communications, bouncing them around inside an enormous network maintained by volunteers around the world. Know the sites you're looking for.

The Deep Web isn't accessible by Google and other search engines. You need to know the name of a site to visit it. Since most of the sites are .onions sites, they can be accessed on the Hidden Wiki. It is the name of several censorship-resistant wikis operating as Tor hidden services. The main page serves as a directory of links to other .onion sites. You can remain anonymous online using encrypted virtual private networks like Expressobutiolem.onion which I highly recommend you to use it .Do not give or share your personal information such as emails, passwords, account numbers and all that stuff to any site on the deep web.
